About the Culturally Responsive Teaching Spotlight

This Knowledge Loom spotlight presents research-based principles of practice that can be used in schools and districts to support Culturally Responsive Teaching. The content has been prepared by the New England Equity Assistance Center (NEEAC), a program of The Education Alliance at Brown University.

In an effort to bring together policy, research, and practice, the spotlight provides a place where you can do the following:

• read about the practices
• review research that identifies and supports them
• read stories about schools that have successfully put the practices into action
• add your own stories and bits of wisdom
• browse questions answered by specialists in the field
• view an online panel discussion
• discover supporting organizations and resources
