Topic:
Leadership as Modeling

Message:
It seems that the place where administrators could really start in providing leadership is modeling the use of technology to do their jobs. I think that when teachers see administrators effectively using email, student information systems, and other tools _outside_ the classroom, they will begin to think about how technology can enhance the work they are doing _inside_ the classroom.

As for leadership and modeling around those inside-the-classroom applications, aren't the best leaders those teachers who've experienced success with technology? How can we provide opportunities for them to lead their new-to-technology colleagues?
