Topic:
Amount of Involvement

Message:
Administrators have a lot of work to do in a small school. Their time is valuable. I fully agree with the idea of parents not being as involved at the high school level as at the elementary level. I have complained in the past of poor turnout at parent nights. I have also been concerned about parents not contacting me when their child is failing my class. Ultimately, it is their choice as to the level of involvement and how they would like to raise their child. If an administrator allows the lines of communication to be open, I do not feel we should go out of our way to solicit parent involvement at the high school level.
