Topic: Sample Projects Aligned With Standards
Message: My exemplary technology project is centered on a graduate course I teach for Framingham State College entitled, Discipline Specific Topics in Instructional Technology http://www.pelnotes.net/fsc/dstyllabus.htm. As I have been able to refine the course content over the last year and a half, student projects have improved significantly, and this has been the most notable observation.
The projects I require must not only be aligned to local and state standards, but national ones as well. They not only include lessons that other teachers can replicate but also student samples of work. Many of my students used the web as the media for their presentations and instruction for the very first time. All of these projects can be found within the Massachusetts Virtual Education Space (VES), http://www.ves.mass.edu, by clicking the courses tab. If you have an account, you can search for the course. Some exemplary projects that can also be found outside of VES are:
