Bilingual Immersion-I don't have a clue!

Message:
A Massachesetts referendum has just "abolished" bilingual education as we know it. Our Dept. of Ed is trying to come up with some guidelines for a "one year immersion" model. I have the bilingual program for our town at my school. The staff and parents are asking me what that will look like. The problem: As principal, I can't give them an answer. I don't have a clue. Help!
