The Knowledge Loom!

From what I understand about this webiste, advocating such things as choice-based art is a primary goal! Let's get this URL out there!

And, having seen the tape made in Kathy Douglas' classroom regarding choice-based art, I'd advocate getting that circulating to the skeptics as well!

I would imagine an art therapist would have a lot to say about the advantages of choice-based art to childrens' well-being. But, the children can tell you themselves, that choice-based art works.

And for those that are still skeptical, you may just have to run a down and dirty research experiment in which the control group receives more so-called traditional art lessons and an experimental group gets exposed to choice-based art. Test both groups with a measure of creativity and happiness with their product, and we'll just see which group comes out on top!
