Topic:
The students' opinions are most important

Message:
First, I believe that the thoughts and opinions of the students are the most effective way of advocating choice-based art education. Art teachers should have a trial period where the students are given an assignment, but are allowed to use any desired materials in order to iniate their own creativity. After the trial period the students should be able to reflect on what they accomplished and whether or not they enjoyed the assignment. The responses of the children should then be presented to the Principle. I feel that the opinions of students (and students only) should be the determining factor for choice-based art education.
