we all have special needs

Message:
The only way an art program needs to be modified for students with special needs is maybe just provide a litte more supervision. Depending on the disability, be it physical, learning, mental etc... each student is capable of creating beautiful art! A table may need to be shortened, a crayon held a different way, or paint kept under close watch, but in no way should any of these restrict a childs ability to create. Any other "normal" child would be given help when asked for it, or helpful at a given time yet these arent thought of as special teaching needs. Everyone could use help and pointers whether he/she is on an IEP or not. Some of the greatest art comes from the most unexpected artists!
