Self-modifications

Message:
Amanda--your comment makes me think about modifications...and how the best thing we can do for our special needs students (No! for ALL our students) is to help them understand their very unique strengths and weaknesses and encourage them to create their OWN modifications so that they can learn at peak level. What better life skill can we offer our students than to learn how to learn. A choice-based classroom encourages students to meditate on how they work best and then to leverage that whenever possible.
