The Policy

As part of its mission to improve K-12 mathematics and science teaching and learning, the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse (ENC) collects information about the effective use of technology in the classroom. Drawing from the standards stated in Principles and Standards for School Mathematics (PSSM, 2000) from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), ENC has identified in its magazine, ENC Focus, resources and practices for successfully integrating educational technology, particularly electronic tools, into the middle school mathematics classroom in order to enhance teaching and learning.
