The Policy
As part of its mission to improve K-12 mathematics and science teaching and learning, the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse (ENC) collects information about resources and techniques for effective professional development. Drawing from standards as stated in Principles and Standards for School Mathematics (PSSM, 2000) from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), ENC has identified in its magazine ENC Focus materials and strategies for providing professional growth opportunities for educators in middle school mathematics.
