Dr. Hererra is responsible for the selection and description of instructional materials for the ENC collection for which she reviews the latest textbooks, games, calculators, manipulatives, and Internet sites for grades K-12. She assists in the conceptualization and preparation of ENC Focus, ENC's quarterly magazine for teachers and is responsible for selecting from the thousands of items in the ENC collection of exemplary materials to highlight in each issue. She also searches for new math sites for ENC's Digital Dozen, and makes presentations to teachers on using ENC services and integrating Internet resources in the math classroom. Before coming to the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse, Dr. Herrera instructed elementary teachers in methods of teaching mathematics and taught math for 15 years at the middle and high school levels.
