Rober D. (Sandy) Goodlett, Executive Director of the Kentucky Office of Family Resource and Youth Services Centers (FRYSC), has witnessed the growth of a legislative mandate from an innovative concept to the implementation of 702 Centers serving 1084 schools. He participated in the growth of the program, first as the Coordinator of Technical Assistance and Training for the FRYSC Branch and later as an Assistant Superintendent of the Anderson County (Kentucky) school system. Dr. Goodlett is an active member in many statewide family-support organizations, including the Steering Committee of the Kentucky Child 2000, the Kentucky Coalition of School-Age Child Care, board member of the Kentucky Partnership for Families and Children, and the State Interagency Council. He is an active member and former president of the Kentucky Family Resource and Youth Services Coalition of Kentucky. After completing his bachelor's and master's degrees at Eastern Kentucky University, he received a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Tennessee.
